What Is Packet Switching?
Some of the recent mobile phone technologies such as GPRS, I-mode etc use packet switching. Since packet switching does not establish any connections, it is also called as connectionless networking. There is also a technique in packet switching called fast packet switching which is used to increase the throughput by eliminating overhead.
